Presto Research Podcast — Brand Identity & Motion Design

Branding, Opening Sequence,
Thumbnail System

Presto Research launched a podcast series featuring conversations with leading voices across the crypto industry. The challenge was to create a distinct identity for the podcast that could stand on its own within YouTube's crowded landscape—while remaining unmistakably tied to the Presto Research brand.

I developed the podcast's visual identity from logo to opening sequence to thumbnail system. The centerpiece is a variable typographic logo: the stacked "PODCAST" wordmark shifts in size dynamically, synced to the beat of the opening audio. Despite these constant transformations, the identity remains cohesive—proving that a logo can be fluid and still feel like a single, recognizable brand.

For thumbnails, I established a consistent layout framework flexible enough to incorporate guest companies' branding without losing Presto's visual presence. Bold title lockups and the signature orange-and-black palette ensure each episode is immediately identifiable in a feed, while leaving room for the featured brand's identity to come through.

The result is an independent podcast brand that maintains Presto's core color system but carves out its own space—designed to capture attention on YouTube while reinforcing the firm's position at the intersection of data, research, and engineering.
